VAT query From NHSE

We are receiving a lot of enquiries about an e mail that has gone out from NHSE regarding information on VAT and the business, we have no idea why they are asking for this and can find nothing in either the PMS or GMS contract documentation that practices are required to give this information to NHSE.
Lentell's accountants believe that this is really only relevant where dispensing practices rent property from a landlord (where VAT is charged) and then practices receive reimbursement from NHSE. In those situations, NHSE will only reimburse the proportion of the VAT which has not been recovered from HM Revenue and Customs.
