Who are Somerset Doctors Urgent Care?
Somerset Doctors Urgent Care (SDUC) have recently been commissioned to provide an integrated NHS 111 and GP OOH service for the patients of Somerset. This will be a clinically and locally led service dedicated to providing the highest possible, patient orientated care, using local doctors and support workers.
What will be your main responsibilities?
You will deliver clinical care to patients accessing SDUC urgent care services in the Out of Hours period, including telephone triage, centre visits and home visits. You will work closely with the clinical leads and local management team to support the delivery of the service. You will work as part of a cohesive team and, when necessary, take lead responsibility for issues outside their immediate sphere of responsibility.

The ideal candidate for these sessions will be:
Currently fully registered with the General Medical Council (GMC).
A local GP working locally to Somerset.
A strong communicator.
A good team player; able to collaborate with internal or external colleagues.
Pro-active and passionate about delivering quality care to patients
