Likewise with the BMA – you may hear about the General Practitioner’s Committee or GPC but what does that mean to you? How to Become an LMC Committee Member

Elections are held every four years under the terms of the LMC constitution, and all GPs are eligible for nomination and election. Sessional GPs i.e. those who are not Partners, may choose to stand in their geographical area, or for sessional seats. Somerset Community Education Provider Network

Community Education Provider Networks are being set up right across the South-West on the directions of Health Education England.  Their job is to help improve the capabilities and capacity of the workforce in primary and community care through increased education and training opportunities for individuals and teams across professional and organisational boundaries.  Further information and events can be found on the SGPET website
