- Coaching and Mentoring – South West Leadership Academy
- ‘Your Coaching Journey’, based in Warwickshire are offering 3 x 1 hr coaching sessions to GPs. I have spoken to Tom Dillon who organises this and it is being offered as doctor’s training as coaches ( mainly GPs) need to have completed 20 hours of coaching to gain their coaching qualification. To help his coaches get enough hours, Tom is offering their services for free (3 sessions per person). It seems like a well-run programme (coaches get an accredited qualification, ongoing supervision etc.) Further info and contact details here

This is for anyone who sees themselves as a leader (or aspiring leader) in healthcare. We all now work with colleagues inside and outside of healthcare; this is “system working”. But how do we act as leaders in this new system way? The South West Leadership Academy are running a series of sessions called “Leading transformation for Integrated Care”. If you are interested in learning more then it’s included in this week’s leadership academy bulletin.

The South West Academic Health Science Network (SW AHSN) are hosting a Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) Programme workshop on 29 November 9-10:30am. It will be led by clinical experts in the field who have developed innovative models of care to support lipid and blood pressure optimisation. To attend you can sign up here.
