An exciting opportunity has arisen for an 8-session salaried GP to join our well established, hardworking, and dedicated team.

Brunel Medical Practice is a ten Doctor GMS teaching practice caring for 16,000 patients with a varied demographic; we have three sites situated in Babbacombe, St Marychurch and Shiphay. We are heavily involved with the Medical School and have a teaching ethos; we host GP registrars and nursing students alongside other allied health professionals. Due to the combined efforts of our excellent clinical and admin teams we achieve high QOF targets and were rated ‘Good’ by CQC in our last inspection.
We have a research team that we are keen to develop in the next few years to incorporate clinical trials research and we are always keen to welcome new GPs to the team that may want to develop postgraduate skills; we have a charitable fund that has been used to help fund these development opportunities. We are also developing links with the hospital to incorporate Speciality training in subjects of interest. Home visits are managed by a home visiting team and duty doctor, supported by a paramedic.
The successful applicant will be offered a bespoke package to meet their working needs and future aspirations; if desired, this salaried role could be part of a portfolio career with flexibility in terms of days, sessions and start times. We offer a competitive remuneration package; £9500 per session with a review after six months.
