Salaried GP / Salaried GP with a view to Partnership
We are looking to recruit a new GP to complement our experienced and diverse team. We are offering a Salaried GP post with a view to a Partnership if preferred. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious GP to join our friendly, progressive team based on the East Southampton/Eastleigh border.
We believe in proactive, person-centred, holistic care, working in partnership with our patients, local community, schools and hospital discharge team. We have an in-house social prescribing team, PALS (Patient Advice and Liaison Supporters) as well as a TEEN initiative to support and signpost troubled teens.
We have a strong focus on high quality patient care and working as a cohesive and supportive team. We pride ourselves in being at the forefront of innovation and service delivery and were the pilot Practice for many new initiatives including MymHealth chronic disease management.
Townhill Community Surgery is a modern, purpose built surgery with a rapidly growing list upward of 6300 patients. The Townhill team consists of 5 GPs, 2 Paramedics, an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, a Practice Nurse, and 2 HCAs. We use the EMIS Web clinical system
There is a weekly clinical team meeting which include MDT, SEA and educational sessions. We also hold more informal lunchtime meets for all clinical staff.
