Salaried GP, Fallodon Way Medical Centre, Henleaze, Bristol.
A friendly, successful, training and research practice of 10,800 patients located in Henleaze, Bristol is looking for two 4- 5 session a week GPs to join the practice on a permanent salaried basis.
The practice combines the best of traditional and innovative working with 3 partners, 4 associate GPs, plus a Retainer. The practice is proactive about managing workload in General Practice. The GPs are supported by a Nurse Practitioner, a Practice Pharmacist and an Elderly Care Coordinator, who won the 2019 General Practice Extended Team Member Awards for her work. There is a team of workflow administrators assisting the GPs in managing inbound correspondence and results. In addition there is a nursing team of 8 and an admin/ reception team of 23.
Rated the best practice in Bristol in the 2016-17 GP Patient Survey, we have since maintained results ahead of both national and CCG levels, across every parameter.
The clinical system is Emis Web, allowing us access to community health records and shared records within in the Locality and the PCN. The PCN has recruited a pharmacist and a social prescriber and is progressing other shared roles.
Our sustainable workload attracts a competitive remuneration package, including 6 week’s annual leave, plus study leave will be offered. As our building extension will not be available until 2021 these sessions will need to be delivered Tuesday to Friday, but this does give the successful candidate Mondays off!
