Our Team at the Heart
We have teams of high skilled clinical and non-clinical staff providing high quality care to our patients. Supporting our 17 GPs we have a Pharmacist Prescriber, Pharmacy Technician, Mental Health Nurse, Paramedic, Advanced Nurse Practitioner plus a team of Nurse Prescribers, Practice Nurses and Health Care Assistants.
Supporting our clinical staff are a team of named GP Admin Assistants, a Management Team and other administrative support. We firmly believe that our team is at the heart of what we do.
Portfolio Careers
If you want to work differently we are able to support you develop parallel roles. For example, we already have a GP working with us who is also a Frailty Fellow.
Training
Both Practices are training Practices and between us we currently have 3 GP trainers. We also work with the University of the West of England to train Practice Nurses, Primary Care Paramedics and Physicians Associates.
Pioneering New Ways of Working
‘AskMyGP’ has revolutionised the way we handle our patient demand. The service allows requests to be navigated to the most appropriate member of our team, or alternative service, giving the GPs increased control over their working day. Since introducing the service we have seen our continuity and patient satisfaction increase to nearly 90%. We have well established document workflow in place which has been rolled out to other local Practices. This sees our GPs only receive approximately ten documents per week to review. We will be an early adopter of the safe delegation of low risk pathology results in early 2020.
