We have received a number of queries as to whether the CCG will be issuing new agreements to account for third party information the CCG will be issuing the following addendum
Proposed Addendum to the GP System Viewer Level 2 Information Sharing Agreement: Due to risks associated with exposing 3rd party data, Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group and the LMC have agreed that the free text section of all patient records in Somerset will not be published, therefore section 5.1 of the ISA no longer applies.
For those Practices who have not yet signed, strike through that section of the agreement and add a caveat onto the signature page that says they are consenting subject to removal of the free text, therefore section 5.1 is null and void.
Somerset County Council Contract: Commissioning of Enhanced Contraceptive Services The LMC had a productive meeting with SCC at the end of July, it was agreed they would look at reviewing the terms and conditions of the standard public health SCC contract to ensure it was more appropriate for primary care settings. They are working on all the queries raised and a further contract will be sent to the LMC for review in the coming weeks.
