A good news story for a Friday: LARC Update “Dear Practices thank you for your patience for those of you waiting for clarification from SCC regarding LOC’s in IUT’s. I am happy to confirm that for the time being fitters without LOC’s do not need to stop fitting devices as long as they are maintain their competency to do so. SCC are keen for practices to complete their audits as soon as possible following which the service can be reviewed including LARC training planning.

For those of you who wish to obtain their LOC’s in IUT’s there is clear guidance on the FSRH website on how to do this. One does not have to be a member to have a LOC.”

Dr Karen Sylvester Vice Chairman
