Primary Care Business Manager
Springmead Surgery in Chard is recruiting for a Business Manager to support the GP partners, current administration team and Operational Manager.
The applicant would ideally have 3 years’ experience in Business Management and finance. You would ideally have worked in an accountancy role or within the NHS and have a sound knowledge of income streams in the NHS/GP setting.
The applicant would manage and co-ordinate all aspects of the practice finances and need to help the practice incorporate National Core Contract requirements into our everyday. They would also help to develop a robust system for monitoring QOF. Some of the practice accounts are managed by a local accountancy firm and the GP partners/management would expect regular reports throughout the year to evaluate where we are and to plan ahead to create new opportunities for income generation.
The role is also a strategic role and will involve meeting with fellow managers from other practices in our Network to explore shared working opportunities if suitable for our patient’s needs.

Salary: Dependent on Experience
