Primary Care is often underappreciated for its core principles and efficacy. This one-day hybrid course (16th April or 14th May) offered by the University of Exeter seeks to address this gap by providing practical solutions and insights for healthcare professionals. Participants can attend either online or in-person at the University's St Luke's Campus. The curriculum includes interactive sessions, masterclasses, and panel discussions aimed at bridging the gap between theory and practice. Upon completion, attendees will not only have a better understanding of primary care but also gain insight into potential academic postgraduate studies in fields like education, public health, and leadership. At the time of writing there are a small number of funded places still available. Target participants include a wide range of healthcare professionals, and managers.

- To help people get the right help, in the right place, at the right time we are pleased to announce that there is a free offer for all of our workforce to undertake personalised care and health coaching conversations. The full course is divided into 2 parts. Part 1, Introduction to Personalised Conversations, is a virtual training spanning 4 half days, suitable for all health and care professionals. It aims to introduce personalised care and health coaching concepts, focusing on interpersonal dynamics in coaching conversations. Participants will learn to explain personalized care principles, explore interpersonal skills, tailor conversations based on individual needs and stages of change, and address equity considerations. The course helps manage expectations, building rapport, and fostering reflective practice. Attendance at all four sessions is required for successful completion.
