A vacancy has arisen for a Prescription Clerk/Dispenser at Cannington Health Centre.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to help with the administration of prescription services and qualified in dispensing services to join our friendly dispensing team. As a Dispenser you will need to have an NVQ level 2 Dispensing Assistant to apply for this role. This will be to process all relevant prescriptions as authorised by GPs and prescribing nurses where appropriate in accordance with the principles of good practice.
The shifts are a mixture of mornings and afternoons and as part of a rota you may be expected to work an occasional evening to 8pm. We require flexibility in terms of shift swaps and additional cover for holiday and sickness absences.
Hours of work will be variable with a minimum of 12 hours a week.
