We are looking for experienced, motivated and flexible Health Care Assistants to join us on a bank (zero hours) basis to support our GP practices in Somerset. You’ll work alongside GP’s, ANP’s, ECPs (paramedics) other HCA’s and non-clinical staff to deliver the best possible patient care.
Our GP Practices
Wincanton Health Centre, Bruton Surgery, Buttercross Health Centre (Somerton), Ilchester Surgery, Oaklands Surgery and Yeovil Health Centre, The Meadows Surgery (Ilminster), Hamdon Medical Centre, Crewkerne Health Centre and West One Surgery, Highbridge Medical Centre, Martock and South Petherton Surgeries.
The work will be on an ad-hoc basis, (covering annual leave, sickness and peak periods) depending on the needs of the organisation and the rate of pay will depend on your experience.
You will ideally have experience of working in primary care although not essential, and be competent in basic healthcare duties. You will possess excellent communication skills and an ability to organise your own time and workload. An understanding, acceptance and adherence to the need for strict confidentiality is essential.
