Designed for PCN managers and staff (including ARRS roles) to provide an overview of general practice, contractual requirements and finances; and how this links with the PCN and strategic direction of the NHS.
- Overview of the reforms and strategic direction, including the introduction of PCNs and how they support primary care
- Services practices provide and which patients they have a responsibility to see
- What the practice income streams are and how these relate to the contract, including PCN income
- What the Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) is, plus the importance of prevalence and personalised care adjustment
- What Investment and Impact Fund (IIF) is and how this is delivered
- What the Care Quality Commission is (CQC)
