- New to Practice GP Nurse (GPN) Fellowship: Alison Williams has been overseeing the New to Practice GP Nurse (GPN) Fellowship for the last 2 years. Over this time, Alison has supported the development of the fellowships. Additionally, Alison has led our GPN Preceptorship program. We are so proud of what has been achieved in that time, and grateful to Alison for the leadership she has shown through this. Thank you Alison. As from the end of December 2022, Alison has left the role, while the fellowships remain. - SGPET Study Day Leadership, being an enabler - 18th Jan at Taunton Racecourse, places still available.
- HCA programme: Do you have health care support workers (HCSWs) / health care assistants (HCAs) in your workforce who would further development opportunities? If so, then this 12-week online course (150 hours) is something to consider.
- HEE Digital Badges for Advanced Practitioners: The Health Education England Centre for Advancing Practice have launched Advanced Practice Digital Badges. Digital badges standardise recognition of the quality assurance of advancing practice education, training and experience. Practitioners who have successfully completed either a Centre for Advancing Practice accredited programme or the e-Portfolio (supported) Route are eligible for and "Advanced" digital badge. For more information on the criteria, benefits for employees and employers and how to claim a digital badge can be found here.

Personalised Conversations (Health Coaching Skills 1): This learning and development is suitable for all practitioners within the Health and Social Care workforce and community teams including Clinical consultants, AHP’s, Health and Wellbeing Coaches, Care Coordinators, Social Prescribers, Social workers etc.
The aim of this course is to introduce you to the principles/concepts of personalised care and health coaching skills to develop an understanding of the interpersonal skills and dynamics in a Coaching Conversation. As a result of this learning you will be able to:
-Explain the principles/concepts of personalised care, social determinants of health and the concept of health coaching skills
-Explore understanding of the interpersonal skills and dynamics in a Coaching Conversation
-Discuss using tailored conversations to the person’s capability, motivation, activation, or opportunities using knowledge of the stages of change
-Apply considerations for meeting individual needs with an awareness of equity and equality
-Explore managing expectations and working with rapport and challenge within conversations
-Demonstrate skills development and reflective practice
