ToHealth (health checks) The LMC asked the opinion of Porter Dodson on the sub contract issued by ToHealth to practices (comments attached), we have shared these with ToHealth and they are looking at some amendments which we hope to have sight of by next Tuesday and will update practices accordingly.
Infection Prevention Solutions: was formed in response to the requirements of the health and social care sector enabling those service providers without in-house comprehensive Infection Control training, to meet the statutory requirements of both the Department of Health and Care Quality Commission relating to Infection Prevention and Control standards. The company provides a unique pro-active specialist Infection Control service training service for all sectors in health care. New drug driving legislation is coming into force on 2nd March 2015 and the government awareness campaign to promote the change to the public has now been launched. practices will be able to order 'partner packs' directly from the Department of Transport. Link
Problems with viewing Documents on the LMC Website Some practices have reported that they are unable to see some of the documents from links sent on the updates posted to the website, we have been informed by the IT team that this is due to viewing in some versions of internet explorer, you can either save the document to file or use an alternative browser to view. These problems should be resolved with the launch of the new website on the 27th February.
