Bideford Medical Centre is recruiting a team player to join our clinical team. We’re interested in hearing from you whether you’re a nurse practitioner, paramedic or emergency care practitioner; the most important thing is finding the right person for the job. Ideally you will be able to prescribe, work within a multi-disciplinary Same Day Team, deliver minor illness clinics, contraception and chronic disease clinics, with a strong desire to develop further into other areas; however, we will support the right candidate with training in the appropriate areas. We continually seek to improve the quality of care that we are able to offer our patients, and this role would be key in continuing to develop our services. We would welcome applications from a broad range of backgrounds.
Bideford Medical Centre is a town based practice with patients in town and rural locations. Bideford is a historic port town on the estuary of the River Torridge in North Devon. We are an innovative, forward thinking practice; a training practice for GPs and medical students; keen on collaboration; open to change and different models of care.
Ø 10 partners, 3 salaried GPs and an established broad spectrum nursing team.
Ø PMS practice with an increasing list size, currently delivering care to 15,200 patients
Ø Training Practice with GP trainees, medical students and Physicians Associates

We are an outward facing practice; members of the Torridge Health Group, working closely with the New Devon CCG, Acute Trust and the Northern Primary Care Collaborative board.
Competitive remuneration, study leave and holiday allocation, NHS pension. This is a full time post of 37.5 hours per week. We are able to be fairly flexible about the working pattern, and would consider a job share for the right candidates.
