GP Locum - Maternity Leave – Access Health Care, Mayflower Practice Group

Access Health Care is looking to add an enthusiastic and forward thinking Locum GP to our workforce of salaried GP as we develop a new model of GP practice in Plymouth between May 2019 and December 2019. We are looking for individuals to help deliver our vision and ensure that the highest quality of service is delivered to our patients.
We provide primary care services to a population of 3500 from five sites across Plymouth. You wold work as part of the clinical team based at Stirling Road Surgery and work as part of the Mayflower Practice Group. We are a friendly, hardworking, innovative team who enjoy working together. We have an excellent clinical skills mix of Salaried GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Pharmacist, Physiotherapist, Mental Health Clinician, Advanced Paramedic and a supportive and dynamic management and administration team. We meet daily for coffee breaks to develop our team working relationships and support each other in our work. There are regular educational meetings as well as social events throughout the year. We take pride in delivering high quality care while maintaining sustainable working conditions for the whole team.
We are looking for 6 sessions per week on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. However, we are fortunate to have some flexibility in the number of sessions we can offer and feel it is important to find the right person who shares our ethos and approach of putting patients first so would look forward to discussion and agreeing how we can make your availability meet with our requirements.
