An exciting opportunity to join a friendly, patient-focused practice in Somerset, located within easy reach of Taunton, Bristol and the Somerset coast. The successful candidate will have experience of chronic disease and acute illness management and ideally experience of working in General Practice. A supplementary nurse prescriber is desirable, but not essential.
The practice is multi-disciplinary, dynamic and innovative. Our focus is patient-centred care with lots of engagement with local community. We really enjoy our work, develop new services regularly, and are involved in training across different professions. We have lots of expertise within the practice and you will be encouraged and supported in your own areas of special interest.
ABOUT US:
- Purpose-built premises just off the M5 (junction 24), and sister practice, Redgate Medical Centre, located approximately 1.5 miles away
- Combined patient list of 10,300 patients, mainly young families
- Paper light, PMS practice using EMIS web
- Practice nurse-led chronic disease management
- Practice nurse training practice
- CQC inspected January 2016 – overall good rating with areas of outstanding practice identified
- High QOF achievement and enhanced services
- Friendly and supportive team, including dedicated prescription team
- Strong links with local Federation practices
