Combe Coastal Practice is the largest Practice in North Devon; it is a vibrant and innovative Practice and believes that the doctor patient relationship remains at the heart of effective care. The Practice currently has 13 Partners, 1 salaried GP and 2 Retainer’s, a large team of experienced nurses and a committed administration team. We have one main surgery and 2 branch surgeries. We have a strong vision around developing a Health and Wellbeing philosophy and believe that embedding these approaches will enhance a longer term Vision of improving health and reducing the clinical burden.

We are a Training Practice and believe that the development of new GP’s is crucial to the sustainability of Primary Care. In addition we look to support growth in other areas of our workforce so welcome Medical students, Nursing students and invest in the Apprenticeship Schemes.
We have a well-established Primary Care Network which has worked together for the last 4 years, the majority of our structures are in place and we are enthusiastically developing the multidisciplinary integrated teams’ in order to deliver the aspirations of the NHS Long Term Plan.
Through the PCN ARR’s funding we are just about to embark on the recruitment of a visionary Health & Wellbeing Team and we continuously seek innovative opportunities to improve Primary Care positively at a time when the services are most under pressure.
