GP Partner (although we will also welcome Salaried GPs), East Quay Medical Centre, Bridgwater.
3 (or four if you prefer) days a week in a welcoming, supportive practice.
East Quay Medical Centre is looking for a new GP Partner/Salaried GP with a view to partnership to join our team. The position is available from 1 December when one of our Partners retires. However, we have flexibility regarding this if you need to start sooner, or later than this.
We are a very friendly and well-organised large practice, with above average earnings. More importantly we look after each other whilst providing a good quality of care to our patients.
We have a very long history of GP (and other!) training. We believe in supporting those with us and helping them as much as they help us.
We also believe in enabling people to work in a way that works for them. And so, whilst we ideally want 2.5-3 days a week we are happy to work with the GP helping us to craft their working week, and their surgeries, so that it works for them.
A GP appointed to this partnership vacancy will be able to apply for the financial and support benefits of the NHS New to Partnership Payment Scheme if eligible.
A GP qualifying since July 2019 and appointed to this post will also be eligible to the benefits of the new two year Somerset general practice fellowship programme.
Oh, and… did we mention that our GP Partners get 3 weeks extra leave every three years! So, you can have 5 weeks off in a block every three years. Funded by the practice!
