SALARIED GP: 2 SESSIONS PER WEEK
Initially for 10-12 month maternity cover starting July 2021 with the possibility this could become a permanent salaried role

WHO ARE WE: Dunster and Porlock Surgeries is situated in purpose built premises with Dunster overlooking the village cricket pitch and Porlock having enviable views onto the moors and across the sea to Wales. The Practice was rated by CQC as overall Outstanding in 2018 and rated by Severn Deanery as an ‘Excellent’ training location. We are a happy, friendly team who support each other to achieve our mission of providing Gold standard care. We actively encourage personal and professional development and consider ourselves innovative and forward thinking whilst retaining the ethos of a family practice. This is real medicine in a rural setting.
WHAT WE CAN OFFER:
GMS dispensing practice in Dunster, partner practice in Porlock
Manageable list sizes with registered patients currently at 6600 but steadily growing
4 doctor practice supported by excellent multi skilled nursing, reception, dispensing and administrative teams.
Training location for GP Specialist Trainees and medical students
Close working with neighbouring practices and an active member of the Somerset West Primary Care Network.
Regular multi-professional meetings and a daily tea break with other clinicians
Competitive salary package including indemnity and GMC
6 weeks annual leave, 1 week (pro-rata) study leave plus UK bank holidays.
Low visit rate with no OOH commitment
