Salaried GPs for BrisDoc Healthcare Service – GP Support Unit (BRI)/GP Support Team (Southmead)

BrisDoc is an award winning primary health care provider with 15 years experience of delivering high quality care to patients in the Bristol area.
We are seeking salaried GPs to work as part of a medical team in a hospital setting, combining primary and secondary care expertise to look after patients as an alternative to hospital admission.
Based in either the new state-of-the-art Southmead Hospital or the Bristol Royal infirmary, you will be part of a proactive award-winning team of experienced GPs and you will be involved with the future design and development of the services.

- Hours: Minimum of 8 hours per week (one day) although ideally looking to recruit into 2 days per week. Shifts are available on Mondays, Wednesdays and weekends.
- Shift Pattern: We operate a rolling 4 weekly pattern Mon-Fri of: 08:00-16:00; 10:00-18:00; 11:00-19:00 and 12:00-20:00. Postholders will be expected to work these shifts on a rotational basis.
BRI work will also include weekend cover : Sat 11:00-17:00 and Sun 12:00-17:00. - Salary: £80,000pa (pro rata) plus NHS Pension.
- Other benefits: 6 weeks holiday/study leave plus bank holidays (pro rata), opportunity to become a BrisDoc shareholder, occupational maternity, paternity and adoption packages.
- Locations: Based at either Southmead Hospital and/or the Bristol Royal Infirmary
- Contract: Fixed term (Maternity Cover) until December 2016 for weekday sessions
