Wellington Medical Centre is a busy, vibrant GP Practice and we are seeking an enthusiastic Health Care Assistant to join our friendly, innovative team.
Hours: 17 hours per week (likely to be over 2 days)
Annual leave: 6.6 weeks (pro rata to part time hours work and inclusive of a pro rata share of bank holidays)
Pension scheme: Posts are eligible for the NHS pension scheme
The ideal candidates will be qualified as a Health Care Assistant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (or be willing to work towards this) and will undertake a range of duties which may include phlebotomy, blood pressure, ECG, warfarin checks, B12 injections, flu injections, ear irrigation, assisting with management of chronic disease, wound management and assisting with minor surgery.
