Nurse Practitioner
We are seeking an enthusiastic Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical team at Taunton Vale Healthcare (TVH).
TVH was the first GP surgery establishing an Urgent Care Team, consisting of Nurse Practitioners and Specialist Paramedics. We also work closely with an excellent nursing team. Our overall desire is to deliver excellent patient care and to enjoy working as a team.
Our practice serves a population of 13,600 patients across two sites, Blackbrook Surgery and Victoria Gate Surgery. Full time hours are available but part-time would be considered.
You will be supported by other Nurse Practitioners/UCPs and GPs. We will also soon have First Point MSK practitioners available daily as well as Mental Health Workers. We offer regular in-house CPD sessions.
You will demonstrate safe clinical decision making and expert care at an advanced level – from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation. Excellent communication skills are essential as part of the team.
