Part-Time Practice Nurse Required
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Practice Nurse to join Yetminster Health Centre. We are rural dispensing practice with approximately 4,300 patients in a small idyllic village just outside the abbey town of Sherborne. As a small practice we get to know most of our patients and have an excellent reputation with our mostly elderly population.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, dynamic Practice Nurse to join our friendly multidisciplinary team for 22 hours per week (currently over 2 ½ days) Flexibility will be necessary to assist in covering annual leave and/or sickness.
The ideal candidates will have recent experience within a Primary Care Setting, be adaptable, highly motivated, relish a challenge and want to develop an ongoing career in Primary Care. However, we are willing to train and develop the right candidate who wants to join our friendly practice. You will be working alongside 4 GP partners, 1 other experienced Practice Nurse and 1 HCA, providing a whole range of practice nursing duties.
The post holder will provide a professional service performing all relevant forms of nursing care without direct supervision and providing support to the GPs. You will also be expected to take an active part in our monthly MDT meetings and Clinical Meetings to ensure ‘best practice’; complete clinical audits; assist in achieving QOF targets and ensure that administrative tasks associated with clinical duties are complete.

Salary is negotiable dependent on experience.
