PRACTICE TREATMENT ROOM NURSE – Amicus Health (Tiverton & Bampton)
Amicus Health is looking for a part time Practice Treatment Room Nurse to join our dynamic, cohesive and expanding team.
Working across two sites our multidisciplinary clinical team of 5 GP partners, 9 salaried GPs, 9 Practice Nurses and HCAs, supported by our dedicated admin team strive to deliver excellent primary care to our expanding list of patients of over 15,600 patients.
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Nurse to join our team with experience in:-
- Wound care & dressings
- Basic procedures such as observational measurements, BP, peak flow, ECGs and monitoring spirometry
- Venepuncture, urinalysis and handling of samples.
In addition to the above, the ideal candidate would also have experience in, or be willing to develop the following skills:-
- Adult and Child Immunisations
- Managing Long term conditions e.g. hypertension and CVD
- Cervical Screening
- Travel vaccinations
- Delivering effective health promotion advice.
We use practice templates and the EMIS Web clinical system to help maintain a high standard of care for our patients.
The role will be based at both our Tiverton and Bampton sites. Salary is negotiable depending on skills and experience. Benefits include an NHS Pension and five weeks annual leave.
