Designed for new Practice Managers, Deputies of those supporting the traditional Practice Manager role (Operational Managers, Finance Managers, Office Managers), to provide an overview of the role of the Practice Manager in terms of the contractual requirements and the finances. Course overview:
- Overview of the reforms
- What services you are contractually obliged to provide
- Which patients the practice have a responsibility to see, and when
- What the practice income streams are and how these relate to the contract & tips on how to ensure you are receiving all your income and maximising profit
- What Enhanced Services (ES) are, the importance of accurate coding and deciding whether to provide an ES
- What the Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) is, plus the importance of prevalence and exception reporting to maximise income
- What the Care Quality Commission is (CQC), how to prepare and staff members potential role in a visit
