Emergency E-Referrals MPH
Eye Casualty - GP Emergency same day referrals can be sent via the following routes.
Patient is sent to eye casualty with the physical referral letter. Please note that the eye clinic is not a walk in clinic and patients are only directed to it if that is the outcome of the triage by our doctors/nurses.
GP can send referral to the following email address: acutereferralclinic@tst.nhs.uk
We are leaving the ERS route open for this service as there are a high number of GP’s using this service and the results are very positive.
ENT Emergency - GP Emergency same day referrals can be sent via the following routes.

- Patient is sent to Blake Ward or ED with the physical referral letter.
- GP can fax the referral to the following fax number: 01823 342 940. Please note that an email address is not regularly monitored and therefore unavailable.
- ERS will be closed to this service and no longer available.
Gynae Emergency - GP Emergency same day referrals can be sent via the following routes.
- We have not changed the process here and therefore please still contact the EPAC clinic or telephone the Gynae Consultant Connect service as normal.
- ERS will be closed to this service and not available.
Vascular Rapid Access Emergency - GP Emergency same day referrals can be sent via the following routes.
- Patient is sent to MPH with the physical referral letter.
- GP can send referral to the following email address: vascularsecretaries@tst.nhs.uk
- We are leaving the ERS route open for this service as there are a high number of GP’s using this service and the results are very positive.
