CQC - Provider Information Collection (PIC) Odette Coveney, Regional Manager, CQC has informed us that the annual declaration provider information collection (PIC) requirement which was to be introduced imminently is now to be delayed until April. This is owing to technical problems with the necessary online portal.
Practices will also soon be sent links to the key line of enquiry (KLOE) documents which underpin questions asked by CQC inspectors. These will be both more relevant and easier to understand than the formal regulations which have been made available to practices and so should help colleagues feel more prepared for inspections.
NHS England funded mobile ECG devices Suzy Taylor, Project Manager-Innovation & AF (01392 247903) has informed us that they are now inviting ‘Expressions of Interest’ for the devices and local projects to improve the detection of AF. Please click on this link for further information and a link to the on-line EOI form. Please ensure you read the ‘Other important information’ section.
Applications must be through the on-line EOI and the closing date is at the end of AF Awareness Week on November October newsletter. Please contact her direct with any enquiries.
