The CCG bulletin this week contains an article on e referrals to MPH, saying "As you may be aware NHS England has commissioned and mandated a project to change the way GP practices refer patients to secondary care.” This is incorrect NHS England have mandated hospital trusts to receive referrals electronically. A little pedantic but important, The GP contract has not changed and we will be speaking to MPH about any proposed change in process.
