2017-18 Technical Requirements to Support GMS Contract These have now been published and are available on the LMC website where PMS the practices will also find the changes that relate to PMS and APMS
Appointment Policy we have been asked by practices for a policy that relates to personal appointments outside of work (Doctors Dentists etc) for their staff please find the policy here the Porter Dodson Handbook has been updated to include this and can be found on the PSU area
European Medical Directory This is circulating in Somerset yet again, please do not sign the contract as you will be charged £741 per annum for the privilege!
Somerset Naturally Healthy Month Somerset County Council Public Health are launching the first “Somerset Naturally Healthy Month” in May 2017 . All over the county participating organisations have come together to offer over 40 different outdoor activities and events which are mostly free. They have particularly tried to organise events that would suit the less active and more vulnerable, aiming to increase people’s confidence and the opportunities they have to be active in the natural environment in order to improve their health and wellbeing. The theme is “Let Nature Nurture”. This seems a good strategy as we try to move towards a more preventative health strategy.
