RI Coding and support documents for practices Somerset LMC and SPH are working together to produce a suite of documents that will enable practices managers to maximum income by improving data checks, the first in the planned series is residential institute coding this will also be available in the PSU area of the website
Workforce Minimum Data Set March Extraction The March extraction is asking for information on every Locum who has worked at the practice, this not only will involve a lot of work for practices but will potentially produce a significant inflation of the figures, the GPC has taken this up with NHS England , we will come back to you all ASAP
Sessional Survey The questions have been devised by the sessional subcommittee, It is open to everyone whether BMA members or not, and is applicable for any GP who works in a salaried or locum role including partners who may have additional roles. They have included representation by LMCs in the questions. Survey
Superannuation Returns Deadline 28th February There are ongoing issues with PCSE which has been fed back to NHS England. It has also been highlighted about the mailbox being full and therefore not accepting pension submissions. The inbox has now been expanded with people monitoring this to ensure that this issue does not arise again. NHSE have agreed that there will be a grace period to send in these submissions. We are unsure of how many people have been unable to submit, and how many were sent after the deadline, but NHS England have agreed to a grace period so doctors should send in their forms as soon as possible in which case they will not lose out.
Tackling Access training Wednesday 8th March at Glastonbury Surgery – last few places remaining.
