What can SPH do for us? Please find attached a letter from Dr Sue Roberts the newly appointed SPH non-executive Chair of SPH explaining how your company have reconfigured and some of the services and support that they are able to provide to practices
Porter Dodson Staff Handbook and Contracts We have now received the 2017 updates for both the contract and the staff handbook, these can be found on the LMC website here, please note you will need to be logged in to view and download them
Childhood Imms Clinic some practices have been experiencing problems with the organisation and communication of clinics by the Child Health team, they would like to convey their sincere apologies and are working hard to remedy the situation to avoid problems in the future, if you do have any queries or have experienced problems please do contact Carol Stringer at somerset.screening@nhs.net

Scam E Mails Please be aware Practices are still reporting receiving e mails which purport to come from a GP partner asking the practice manager for bank details or balances, we have also received them in the LMC office.
Vocare OOH service The LMC have received a number of concerns from GPs working in the service regarding shift coverage which we have fed back to the CCG, who are committeed to ensure there is a safe service delivered for Doctors and Patients and are meeting with Vocare next week, if you would like to share any concerns with the LMC please e mail LMCoffice@somersetlmc.nhs.uk Where clinicians would not like to be identified this will of course be honoured by the CCG.
GMC Lunchtime Session the next session will be on confidentiality at the LMC offices on 21st February please book online if you are able to attend, there is a podcast available for those who cant. Podcast.The GMC have recently updated their confidentiality guidance which will also be covered in this session
