Somerset Together Q&A from 9/2. You will have received the responses from the CCG from the questions raised at the LMC meeting on the 9th February. The LMC will be doing a formal response that will be sent to the CCG and which we will share with Practices. Firearms Licensing process - New guidance for GPs:Following the recent message in GPC news regarding the introduction of a new firearms licensing process, we are now able to provide the details of the new process which is available on the BMA website (this guidance applies for England, Wales and Scotland). This webpage also provides links to more detailed Home Office guidance for GPs and all the relevant forms.
We are aware that many GPs will have concerns over the new process and those who have been involved in discussions with the Home Office share these frustrations. The GPC will continue to raise your concerns with the Home Office on the new process and seek solutions where possible.
LMCs Buying Group News The national LMCs buying group now have over 54 national LMCs as members and they will be introducing new suppliers over the coming months, one of these is GREENZONE total waste management, a brokerage service for trade waste and supplier for female waste, details are attached
