Thinking of Portfolio Career Opportunities - Free face to face interactive 9-2pm Thursday 7/4/22 session ‘Primary Care Portfolio Careers Event’ ran by BNSSG Training Hub suitable for all primary care practitioners and practice management staff. There will be an array an array of multidisciplinary, inspirational speakers discussing their own portfolio careers. Primary & Integrated Care Librarian Message - Several new titles on sustainability have been added to the national Kortext collection by Health Education England. - Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment Toolkit for Primary Care Practitioners. This is a toolkit suitable for medical and healthcare professionals working in primary care settings. It explains what comprehensive geriatric assessment is, in what circumstances to use it and how it is done together with planning and involvement of social services. In addition, the series includes guides on specific medical issues that older patients may present with. These CGA guides cover a range of conditions and situations, from bone health to end of life care. - E-learning for frailty. This is an additional online learning platform or frailty. Frailty - elearning for healthcare (e-lfh.org.uk ) The programme is split into 3 tiers, but the choice of tier is dependent on the one that meets their needs and role expectations. For example tier 2 b would be suitable for GPs.
- Free non promotional support for Diabetes to practices and PCNs (Novo Nordisk) - MERIT™ (Meeting Educational Requirements Improving Treatment) is a competency-based programme and is for all healthcare professionals involved in diabetes care. The aim of the programme is to support the development of skills and competency in the management of Type 2 Diabetes in the primary care setting.
