Dr Lucy Pollock is a keen observer of people, a born diagnostician, a tenacious and pragmatic advocate for her patients, a great asset to Somerset - and yet another of our Somerset caring and expert consultants. She also writes with the eye of the novelist - The Book About Getting Older is a masterful read for all of us, who are, who know someone who is, or who one day will - get older! I learnt a lot - so for clinicians, it's CPD as well! Enjoy her on the podcast. As Sandi Tostvig says "The most important book about the second half of your life you'll ever read"
