LMC Studyday Report Please find the full report on the recent studyday on the LMC website. An LMC Position  Paper on  Proposals  to Secure the Future of General Practice in Somerset is being put together from the outcomes of the Question and answer session held on the day and will be with practices next week. You may be aware that the CCG also has some suggestions for Federation re-configuration that are being presented at COG. We are discussing this with the CCG so that Practices wishes are made clear.

LMCs Conference Report Practices will be aware that the national LMCs conference was held in London last week, 4 GPs from Somerset attended and spoke to motions on prescribing, workload, unplanned admissions and NHS 111, please read the LMC Chairmans full report here

Vaccine Update PHE has been notified of a further delay to deliveries from the manufacturer (the Statem Serum Institute) and we now expect ordering for BCG vaccine to reopen on ImmForm in mid-June.Colleagues should continue to prioritise remaining local stocks as outlined in Vaccine Update issue 227

CQC Visits in Somerset during July
We have been informed by the Inspection Manager. Avon Team (South Gloucestershire, Bristol, Somerset & North Somerset). Care Quality Commission South Region "At this point in time there are no other inspections in Somerset planned for July."
