Dear Colleagues

This just in from the GPDF, We haven't had chance to read thoroughly yet but as I am going on leave next week I thought best to share with you all now in case some wheels were being invented out there, we are still waiting for dates to be confirmed with Adrian Poole and Andrew Spear for Legal and financial roadshows in September, more news on that soon

Should you have any questions please send them to the LMC office and we will collate to send to Penningtons on your behalf somersetlmc.office@nhs.net

This message has been sent on behalf of Dr Douglas A Moederle-Lumb, Chair, GPDF.

Dear Colleague,

In response to demand from a number of LMCs, GPDF have continued to work with the legal team at Pennington Manches to prepare guidance, advice and information for LMCs in relation to Primary Care Networks, and specifically Clinical Directors.

A new suite of material is now available to download from the Library section of the GPDF website (https://www.gpdf.org.uk/gpdf-resource-library )  This material includes:

And a series of template contracts dealing with six possible models:

1  self-employed consultant engaged by a lead practice (which is identical to one engaged under the Hybrid model);

2  self-employed consultant engaged by a federation to which the activities of the Primary Care Network (PCN) have been delegated;

3  self-employed consultant engaged by all practices of a PCN (the flat model);

4  employed clinical director employed by a lead practice, (which is identical to one employed under the hybrid model);

5  employed clinical director employed by a federation;

6  employed clinical director employed by all practices of a PCN.

I hope you find these documents of use and value.

Kind regards

Dr Douglas A Moederle-Lumb

Chair

Kind Regards

Jill
