CHIS and Data Extraction

Date sent: Friday 12 April 2019

All Practice Managers

Dear Colleagues

Apologies for a further Friday e mail

CHIS and data extraction The LMC is well aware of the confusion surrounding the various data sharing agreements (DSAs) which have been issued recently by Health Intelligence and are trying to make sense of the confusion and to establish an agreeable method for the extraction of data. We have been informed that MIQUEST will continue to at least December 2019, therefore practices will be receiving a further e mail from CHIS with an up to date Data sharing agreement that categorically states you will be signing up to the MIQUEST process only, which the LMC have agreed is acceptable until a local solution is found, which we envisage will be EMIS Health Analytics in Somerset.

Letters and the agreement we understand will be distributed in the next couple of weeks

Kind Regards

Jill
